Aerial Real Estate Photography: How Drones Have Changed the Real Estate Game

Panoramic aerial view of a beautiful subdivision in an upscale neighborhood in Georgia, USA

When capturing photos of homes, it’s the photographer’s goal to capture as much of a property as physically possible. For the past 2-3 years, this has been made possible with smaller, more affordable, drones (or unmanned aircraft systems).

Being able to capture a whole property in one image, or an angle on a home that was previously unachievable makes a listing pop! But don’t take our word for it: According to MLS statistics, homes with aerial images on average sold 68 percent faster than homes with standard images.

At Skyline Pictures, we’ve seen this phenomenon for ourselves. The majority of our home shoots that have included drone (aerial) imaging have had an offer made within 5-10 days of the realtor publishing the listing.

Check out our pricing for aerial real estate photography in Columbia, SC. For a chance to sell your listing 68 percent faster than without drone photos, this option is a no-brainer!

Skyline Pictures photographers are licensed drone operators that only use High Definition Drone Cameras.
